Surfing the web can waste a lot of valuable time because there are a lot of rubbish sites out there, full of flashing buttons and banner ads, all trying to sell you something, but adding nothing to the value of the internet, or to your knowledge of a particular subject.

These sites give me a headache when they open in my browser. I just click on my back button straight away because my time is too precious to waste on somebody else's internet junk! Unfortunately, there's no escaping them, they're everywhere and Google doesn't seem to be able to recognise them and filter them out yet.

However, you will not find them listed on this page because they won't escape my eagle eye!
